Samsung Galaxy Pocket


Samsung has been dominating the premium smartphone segment with its Galaxy S3 and Note II. Now, Samsung is trying to become a leader in the entry-level smartphone segment as well. It has comes up with a new model Samsung Galaxy Pocket which is cheap and yet is a smartphone. Lets have a look at some of its features.

The handset offers a 2.8 inces QVGA touchscreen display which has a resolution of 320 X 240 pixels. It comes with a 832 MHz single core processor and Google's Android Gingerbread operating system. The phone's interface runs on Samsung's Touchwiz user interface which is easy to use and customize. There are many inbuilt applications like Google Maps, YOutube, Calendar, Google Search, Facebook, Web browser, calculator and much more.

Samsung Galaxy Pocket comes with an internal memory of 3 GB. If that is not enough, you can further improve the storage capacity of the phone by using a microSD card of up to 32 GB. There is a standard 3.5 mm audio where you can connect your favorite headphones. If you are looking for a compact and lightweight smartphone then go for the Samsung Galaxy Pocket. It measures 102.7 X 57.5 X 12 mm and weighs only 97 grams. Samsung has built a lot of features into the phone without making it expensive.
